Welcome to Full Motion Pilates................
With teachers trained by Balanced Body Pilates and Body Control Pilates®, Full Motion Pilates provides group Pilates Mat classes in and around North Norfolk. Group classes and private Reformer and TRX sessions are also offered in our Pilates studio in Heydon. Classes can be easily reached from Holt, Sheringham, Reepham, Melton Constable, Alysham and surrounding villages, as well as North Norwich.
Pilates is an excellent way to clear your mind and improve your posture, body alignment, core strength and function, flexibility and balance. It's suitable for all ages and abilities and as well as being a fabulous way to condition and improve your whole body, Pilates is often recommended to prevent and support spinal and other joint, soft tissue and muscular conditions.
Our classes are full of functional movement patterns which nourish, strengthen and mobilise your body. We teach mindful movement, designed to get you in touch with your own body and how it functions. Even if you are fit and well, this approach aims to highlight areas of your body which could be improved, thus enhancing your daily or sporting activities. By learning to understand how you are designed to move, you will have the tools to prevent injury, reduce or eliminate pain and enjoy a strong and vibrant body, whatever your age.
Group Classes
Mat based Pilates classes are run from our lovely equipped studio on the Heydon Estate as well as High Kelling and Weybourne Village Halls on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Classes run Tuesdays to Fridays and offer various levels and both daytime and evening classes.
We use a variety of small props and equipment in all our group classes such as therabands, Pilates circles, small balls, weights, foam rollers and blocks.
We are expericenced in teaching a wide range of age groups from those in their 20's right up to late 80's.
Private Sessions
Full Motion Pilates offer private mat, Reformer or TRX sessions for individuals, couples or small groups in our private studio in Heydon.
After an initial assessment and chat about your body and its needs, we can create a program tailored to you.
A private session is also a useful tool if you come to regular group classes and would like to have a more in depth look at your body and its movement.
